Buton tribe (or Butonese) refers to a collective group of indigenous people living on Buton Island in Southeast Sulawesi,Indonesia. They are most globally famous for their striking,brilliant blue eyes,a rare genetic trait caused by Waardenburg syndrome, which affects pigmentation in the eyes & hair.
